      None, Odd or Even

Data     selection of 7 or 8

Stop     selection of 1 or 2

• 

Mode

     The Tandberg codec data port supports three user-selectable

modes:

— 

Data     Provides a transparent data channel. This channel is used for

many different purposes, such as file transfer and application sharing.
This mode requires a Tandberg codec at both locations.

— 

Modem     Allows you to control the codec externally via a PC as in Con-

trol Mode. However, once a call is established the data port will auto-
matically switch to Data Mode.
