2. Locate an unused rack position and mount the panel using at least two sets of fasteners (screws and star washers
provided) per side, as shown in Figure 3. (Mount the panel as high as possible on the rack.)
3. Tighten the screws to 35 in-lb. (4.29 N
•
m).
If you intend on installing more than one panel per rack, you need to plan a rack arrangement that dissipates heat
efficiently, as suggested on the following page.
4. Loosen (you need not remove) the two screws securing the transparent terminal cover to the rear of the panel.
5. Remove the cover.
WARNING! Failure to properly ground this equipment can create hazardous conditions to installation personnel
and to the equipment.
