iMAC2 CONTROLLER OPERATION SUMMARY
This section provides an overview of the operational principles of the iMAC2 Controller. The topics covered
include navigating the user interface, the user programmable L1/L2 LEDs and the communication status
LEDs.
Topics not covered in this operation summary include the operation of individual modules, Modbus
communication, iMAC2 Controller/Module programming, and detailed installation requirements. For
information regarding these topics, please refer to the relevant separate documentation.

The iMAC2 Controller has six attachment
points for mounting brackets that secure
the iMAC2 Controller within the panel. The
Controller is intended to be mounted using
four mounting brackets on the outer
points, or two mounting brackets on the
centre points.
Mounting Bracket Attachment Point
When the iMAC2 Controller is panel
mounted with the supplied fascia gasket, it
provides an IP55 ingress protection rating.
Fascia Gasket
This rotary switch is accessed via a hole in
the side wall of the iMAC Controller’s
enclosure. The function of this selector is
dependent upon the application software.
16 Position Rotary Switch
The iMAC2 Controller has five plugs on the
rear of the controller. All of the electrical
wiring for the Controller is via these plugs.
Plugged connections allow for easy
installation and quick change outs.
Plugged Electrical Connections
Four DIP Switches are accessible via a hole
in the side wall of the iMAC Controller’s
enclosure. The functionality of these
switches is dependent upon the application
software.
