5.6.6 Exciter: Oil change/oil level

•

Loosen oil drain plug (1) and unscrew

•

Drain old oil

•

After draining the old oil:

•

Fill new gear oil; oil capacity and quality: see lubrication
schedule

•

The oil level must reach to the lower edge of the thread (min.)

•

Screw in oil drain plug, use a new sealing ring.

Oil changes should be carried out with the gear oil
warm

Caution when draining hot oil, risk of scalding!
