3.3 Operation the engine
3.3.1 Starting the engine
•
Turn the fuel valve (1) to « ON ».
•
Push the choke lever (2) to « CLOSE ».
•
Set throttle lever (3) to full throttle.
•
Set the engine switch (4) to « ON ».
•
Pull the starter handle (5) slightly until resistance is notice-
able, then pull firmly.
After the engine has started:
•
Set the throtte lever to idling.
•
Allow the engine to warm up for 1 to 2 minutes.
•
Set the choke lever (2) during the warming up phase to
«
OPEN ».
3.3.2 Switching off the engine
•
Set the throttle lever (3) to « min. ».
•
Turn the engine switch (4) to « OFF ».
•
Set the fuel valve (1) to « OFF ».

Attention
Do not allow the starter handle (5) to spring back
against the engine. Move the starting cable back
into its initial position manually to prevent the
starter being damaged.
Do not use the choke when the engine is warm or
at high outside tempertures.

In case of emergencies, the engine switch should be
