Problem 2. Slippage

Procedures:
1.
There are four situations which cause
slippage.
2.
M12 x P1.75 rod end (fish-eye)
bearing: M12 nut on top must be
tighten enough to the connecting arm
and perpendicular to M12 x P1.75 rod
end bearing, as shown in figure 1.

Head Cap Screw and 3/8

on top must be tight enough, as shown
in figure 2, with 500~600 lbs of force
suggested.
4.
Cross Bar: M8x40m/m Socket Head
Cap Screw on the cross bar must be
tight enough, as shown in figure 3,
with 550~600 lbs of force suggested.
5.
The Belt: This case occurs most
frequently as the belt gets loose after
certain time of usage depending on the
duration and weight of the user. Refer
to replacing the belt for adjusting the
belt tension.
