CHAPTER 5 – Options Setup 

 

5.1 

Option OC (Overcurrent Trip) 

Refer to Chapter 4, and review the setup procedure for the ZERO and SPAN controls.  Then adjust 
Option OC as follows: 
 
a.  Adjust the OC 

(CUR/PWR)

 potentiometer fully CW. 

b. Adjust 

ZERO

 and 

SPAN

 as previously described in Chapter 4. 

c.  With the power controller at full output, adjust OC (CUR/PWR) potentiometer CCW until the unit 

shuts off. 

d.  Adjust the OC 

(CUR/PWR)

 potentiometer slightly CW. 

e.  Momentarily press the RESET pushbutton on the Current Limit option PCB on the inside front 

door.  The power controller should turn on. 

 

 5.2 

Option CL/OC (Current Limit/Over Current Trip) 

 
Refer to Chapter 4, and review the setup procedure for the ZERO and SPAN controls.  Then adjust 
Option CL as follows: 
 
a.  Set the TRIP LEVEL potentiometer fully CW.

b.  Adjust the CURRENT LIMIT 

(CUR/PWR) 

potentiometer fully CW. 

c.  Adjust ZERO and SPAN as previously described. 

d.  Adjust CURRENT LIMIT 

(CUR/PWR) 

potentiometer full CCW. 

e.  Increase the input control signal to demand full output 

f.  Adjust the CURRENT LIMIT 

(CUR/PWR)

 potentiometer until maximum current level is reached. 

g.  With the power controller at full output, adjust the TRIP LEVEL potentiometer CCW until the unit 

shuts off.
