EDGING DEPTH
DANGER – Never attempt to adjust the depth while the edger is running.
The ReadyEdger™ can be adjusted to edge at three different depths. To adjust the
depth of the cut, loosen the knob on the left front of the edger and move the front
wheel up or down to the desired depth setting (see depth indicator label). Then,
retighten the knob securely.
EDGE GUIDE
The ReadyEdger™ is equipped with a fixed edge guide that makes it easy to follow
a sidewalk or curb.
CAUTION
– Make sure the edger blade will only contact dirt before turning on.

TURNING THE READYEDGER™ ON
Once the unit is plugged in and you are ready to start edging simply push the unit’s
safety trigger in with your thumb while pulling up on the trigger (under the handle)
with your fingers. See Figure 7.
The thumb safety switch is only for starting the
unit and can be released during edging.
To turn off the unit, release the trigger
and the safety switch will snap out to prevent the trigger switch from being acciden-
tally depressed.
