Pan/Tilt and Lens Cable

The connections to a Pan/Tilt and a motorized lens are with
12-pin connectors.  These connectors are located on the PCB,
in the front of the unit with the power switch in the upper left
corner.  They are labeled J101 to J801 and OUT 1 to OUT 8,
respectively (see Figure 1 or OP0064, OP0065 or OP0066).

Before Starting:

1. Check power line to verify the power is off.

2. Open the receiver and find the Pan/Tilt and Lens connectors

located on the PCB in the front of unit with the power
switch in the upper left corner (see OP0064, OP0065 or
OP0066 depending on the delivered configuration).  They
are labeled J101 to J801 (OUT 1 to OUT 8).  If the unit is
configured for four auxiliaries, the Pan/Tilt and Lens
connectors are labeled J101, J301, J501 and J701 (OUT 1,
OUT 3, OUT 5, and OUT 7), respectively.  For eight
auxiliaries, Pan/Tilt are not used.

Wiring:

3. Pass the wire through the bushing to the Pan/Tilt and Lens

connector.  Do not tighten bushing.

4. Crimp the enclosed pins to the ends of the Pan/ Tilt and

Lens wires.  For steps 5 through 15, refer to OP0064,
OP0065 or OP0066 for pinouts.

Pan/Tilt:

5. Insert the Pan Right wire of the Pan/Tilt unit into the pin

location for Pan Right.

6. Insert the Pan Left wire of the Pan/Tilt unit into the pin

location for Pan Left.

7. Insert the Tilt Up wire of the Pan/Tilt unit into the pin

location for Tilt Up.

8. Insert the Tilt Down wire of the Pan/Tilt unit into the pin

location for Tilt Down.

9. Insert the Pan/Tilt Common of the Pan/Tilt unit into the pin

location for Pan/Tilt Common.

10.Insert the Pan/Tilt Shield of the Pan/Tilt unit into the pin

location for Pan/Tilt Shield.

Lens:

11. Insert the Iris wire of the Lens unit into the pin location for

Iris.

12. Insert the Focus wire of the Lens unit into the pin location

for Focus.

13. Insert the Zoom wire of the Lens unit into the pin location

for Zoom.

14. Insert the Lens Common wire of the Lens unit into the pin

location for Lens Common.

15. Insert the Lens Shield wire of the Lens unit into the pin

location for Shield.

16. Remove any excess cable and tighten the bushing.

Note: Do Not Connect the Lens Common to the Pan/Tilt

Common.
