RECORD OPERATION:
Note: It is important that the built-in microphone located on the front right-hand side of the Tech/Plus 32 is
open and clear during recording.
Recording procedure for the 32 message squares:
1.
Set the Level Select knob (see diagram below BACK VIEW for Level Selection).
2.
Set the VOLUME control, by sliding the wheel to the left until it reaches the desired volume level.
3.
Press and hold in the Recording Button. The Recording Button must be engaged for the entire
recording process. An external recording switch can be used by plugging a switch into the jack on the
back of the Tech/Plus 32 labeled EXT REC.
4.
Select one of the 32 message squares on the face of the Tech/Plus 32 and depress and hold down that
message square, when the recording LED on the top right-hand side on the grid turns ON begin to say
your message into the built in microphone located on the front right hand side of the Tech/Plus 32.
5.
When you are finished saying the message, release the message square.
6.
Each of the remaining buttons can be programmed in the same manner for that level.
Recording procedure for the 4 core messages:
Note: The 4 core messages can be recorded on any level setting, they will play the same message on
every level.
1.
Set the VOLUME control, by sliding the wheel to the left until it reaches the desired volume level.
2.
Press and hold in the Recording Button. The Recording Button must be engaged for the entire
recording process. An external recording switch can be used by plugging a switch into the jack on the
back of the Tech/Plus 32 labeled EXT REC.
3.
Select one of the 4 core messages on the face of the Tech/Plus 32 and depress and hold down that
message, when the recording LED on the top right-hand side on the grid turns ON begin to say your
message into the built in microphone located on the front right hand side of the Tech/Plus 32.
4.
When you are finished saying the message, release the message.
5.
Each of the remaining core messages can be programmed in the same manner.
PLAYBACK OPERATION:
*If you are using the optional external speaker, be sure to plug the external speaker in to the jack in the back of the
Tech/plus 8 labeled EXT SPK and then perform steps 1 through 4
1.
Turn the Tech/Plus 32 ON. Lift the panel door on the back of the Tech/Plus 32. Slide the VOLUME
control wheel to the left, until it clicks ON.
2.
Set the VOLUME control, by sliding the wheel to the left until it reaches the desired volume level.
3.
Set the Level Select knob to the desired level to match the overlay.
4.
Select one of the 32 message squares or core messages on the face of the Tech/plus 32 and depress that
message square for message playback.
