CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the product may cause injury.
− Make sure the product is placed on a stable, flat surface.
− Do not connect the product to an outlet during assembly.
− Be careful when lowering the tilting arm. You may
accidentally pinch your fingers and hands.
− Always secure the mixing bowl to the base before operation.
Never press the release button during operation.
1. Set the control dial

2. To attach the splash guard

, align the notch with the tab on the mixer
head

. Pull the front and back of the splash guard up until they click and
lock into the indentations on the mixer head (see
Fig. B
).
3. Place the mixing bowl

into the bracket in the base

and rotate it
clockwise (in the direction indicated by the LOCK arrow) to lock the mixing
bowl in place (see
Fig. C
).
4. Fit the desired mixing tool (dough hook

or wire whisk

into the drive shaft

. To do so, align the guide grooves with the guidance
lugs (see
Fig. D
). Push the mixing tool all the way up and rotate it counter-
clockwise to secure it to the drive shaft (see
Fig. E
).
5. Press the release button and push the tilting arm down. Make sure that the
mixing bowl is locked securely into the bracket in the base.
6. The product is assembled and ready for operation.
