9.3.1 Tines stopping during operation
If the tines encounter an obstacle, the tool carriers are blocked.
1. Raise the implement.
2. Reduce the PTO shaft speed to approx. 300 rpm.
The ratchet clutch engages audibly.
3. Re-establish the original PTO shaft speed.
4. Resume working.
After the tines have encountered and obstacle, the obstacle is jammed between the tines.
The ratchet clutch does not engage automatically.
1. Raise the implement.
2. Secure the tractor and implement.
3. Wait until the tool carriers come to a stop.
4. Remove the obstacle between the tines.
The implement is ready for operation again.
9.3.2 The ratchet clutch is often triggered
Maintenance required on the ratchet clutch.

If the ratchet clutch is often triggered,
perform maintenance according to the
instructions from the universal joint shaft
manufacturer
or
Contact AMAZONE Customer Service.
2. Install the universal joint shafts.
