4.5 Intended use
This implement is:

designed for conventional use in intensive, shallow soil cultiva-
tion.
•
operated by one person.
•
depending on equipment, connected to
ο
a tractor drawbar
ο
the tractor lower link, Category III
ο
the tractor pin connection D = 40/50.
ο
the ball coupling
Slopes may be traveled:
•
along the contours
Direction of travel to left 15 %
Direction of travel to right 15 %
•
Along the gradient
Uphill 15 %
Downhill 15 %
The intended use also includes:
•
compliance with all the instructions in this operator’s manual
•
execution of inspection and maintenance work
•
exclusive use of AMAZONE original spare parts
Other uses to those specified above are prohibited and shall be con-
sidered as improper.
For any damage resulting from improper use:
•
the owner or field operations manager bears the sole responsi-
bility
•
AMAZONEN-WERKE assumes no liability
4.6 Danger area and danger points
The danger area is the area around the implement in which people
can be caught by:
•
work movements made by the implement and its tools
•
materials or foreign objects ejected by the implement
•
tools rising or falling unintentionally
•
unintentional rolling of the tractor and/or the implement
Within the implement danger area are danger points with permanent
and/or unexpected risks. Warning labels indicate these danger points
and warn against dangers, which cannot be eliminated for construc-
tion reasons. Here, the special safety regulations of the appropriate
section shall be valid.
