3.8 Entering the GPS switch settings for seed drills

3.8.1 Configuring the driver assistance system

The driver assistance system supports the driver in
working the field seamlessly. Switching delays of the
seed drill and uneven forward speeds can cause overlap
or underlap in the seed rows. The driver assistance sys-
tem notifies the driver with a signal tone and a symbol
that the vehicle is approaching the switch point and that
the forward speed must be kept constant.

The value to be entered defines the distance between
the implement and the switch point at which the driver
assistance system is enabled.
