EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS ON THE PRODUCT PACKAGING/TYPE LABEL

at the end of its service life and all pack-
aging materials.

Always remove the battery during
work, transport, storage, maintenance
or repair.
Do not expose batteries to excessive
temperatures above 50 °C.
Failure to follow the safety warnings and instruc-
tions may result in electric shock, fire and/or seri-
ous injury. Keep all safety warnings and instruc-
tions for future reference.

This charger is not intended for use by
children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge. This charger may
only be used by children from the age of 8
upwards and persons with limited physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge if they are super-
vised by a person responsible for their safe-
ty or if they have been instructed in the safe
handling of the charger and understand the
dangers involved. Otherwise, there is a risk
of incorrect operation and injury.
2. Supervise children during use, cleaning and
maintenance. This will ensure that children do
not play with the charger.

Only charge AlzaTools lithium-ion batter-
ies with a capacity of 3 or more batteries.
The battery voltage must correspond to
the charging voltage of the charger. Do not
charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Other-
wise, there is a risk of fire and explosion.
4. Protect the charger from rain and moisture.
Water entering the charger increases the risk of
electric shock.
5. Keep the charger clean. Pollution causes a risk
of electric shock.
6. Check the charger, cable and plug before each
use. If you find any faults, do not use the charg-
er. Do not open the charger yourself and only
have it repaired by qualified personnel using
original spare parts. A damaged charger, cable
and plug increase the risk of electric shock.
7. Do not operate the charger on a flammable
surface (e.g. paper, textiles, etc.) or in a flam-
mable environment. There is a risk of fire due to
the charger heating up during charging.
8. Vapours may be emitted if the battery is dam-
aged or used incorrectly. Supply fresh air and
seek medical advice if you have any problems.
Vapours may irritate the respiratory tract.
9.
Do not cover the ventilation slots of the
charger.
Otherwise, the charger may overheat
and will not work properly.
