TAS12 Installation
3. If the turnstile was ordered with the wireless
communication option, the antenna will be
taped to the side of the TAS12 unit. Remove the
antenna and attach it to the back of the TAS12
using an 5/16" open wrench [Figure 9].
4. In case not already done, remove all packaging
from the TAS12 unit.
5. Place the TAS12 onto the lid and slide the unit
forward [Figure 10]. The base plate will act as
a guide; the dove tail plates will slide under the
base plate until they are flush with the front edge
of the base plate.
6. From the underside of the lid, use a 5/32" Allen
wrench and tighten the four (4) Allen head
screws.
1. Locate the (4) Allen head screws on the
underside of the turnstile lid [Figure 8].
2. Using a 5/32" Allen wrench,
loosen
the (4) Allen
head screws.

NOTE
If you are installing a Dual TAS12 turnstile, the TAS12 units will be labeled ENTRY and EXIT.
It is the responsibility of the installers to ensure the entry and exit TAS12 units are installed in
accordance to your project layout.
