Transport
Disengage the PTO before each transport.
L
Before each transport:
1.
Push the tilt table towards the saw blade.
2.
Hook in the transport safety device (3) and secure it using
the spring pin (29).
Transport with the transport arm (28)
Secure the transport arm (28) to three-point hitch (23).
Flip up the transport arm (28), slightly lift the log saw and
push it on the wheels (1) before you.
Transport with the three-point hitch (23)
Before transporting make sure that the PTO operation is
deactivated and the PTO shaft is hooked in the safety chain (25).
Secure the machine to the tractor's three-point hitch (category 1 /
2).
If you transport the machine on the three-point hitch
(category 1 / 2) of a tractor (or similar equipment) and lighting or
signalling devices (such as brake, rear and flashing lights) are
covered by the attachment, you have to install an additional
electrical lighting assembly to be allowed to use public traffic
routes. This also applies to units that jut out more than 40 cm on
the sides or more than 1 m on the rear from the edge of the
tractor's effective reflex surface (light-exit surface). In addition to
this, the tractor must have clearance lamps on its front if
attachments jut out more than 40 cm from the sides. According to
DIN 11300, any parts of fitted or towed attachments posing a
traffic hazard must also permanently carry red-white striped
warning plates.
For up-to-date information see the current road traffic act.
Bear in mind that front ballast has to be attached when this
machine is transported by a tractor (steerability) if this is required
according to the weight table for the tractor.
Do not exceed a maximum transport speed of 30 km/h.
Storage
Disengage the PTO shaft from
the machine.
Store unused equipment in a dry, locked place out of the reach of
children.
Before a longer period of storage carry out the following to extend the
saw service life and ensure an easy operating:
−
thoroughly clean the device
−
treat all movable parts with an environmentally friendly oil
L
Never use any grease!
