2.1.6 Charging battery
SSB 400 W/480 W
CAUTION!
Danger of electric shock!
Do not lay tools or parts on
battery or battery poles and
do not handle with wet
hands.
Before working on the
machine:
• Switch off all switches on
the control panel.
• Observe battery handling
instructions (Chapter 3.5).
Charge batteries for initial use:
• Connect battery charging
set to charging plug on back
of machine.
• Switch on charging set.
The charging time is approx.
12-14 hours, depending on
the battery charge level.
Only original charging sets
with an automatic controller
may be used, as they adhere
exactly to the specified
characteristic curve and
switch off automatically
after completing charging.
2.1.7 Filling fresh water tank
• Fill fresh water tank with
water.
• Add cleaning agent in
required concentration (see
product label for dosage).
We recommend the use of
Alto cleaning agents
(Chapter 4.2).
WARNING!
Use only low-foam cleaning
agents which are expressly
approved for use in automatic
cleaning machines.
If foam develops in the dirty
water tank, add antifoam
agent.
