The flat-battery sensor is
used for the protection
of the drive battery from
complete discharge.
The fitting of a flat-
battery sensor order No.
61197 increases the
service life of the battery
and is necessary for
claims under the warran-
ty.

Removing bridging
plug (is no longer
required after fitting
of flat-battery
sensor).

Fasten flat-battery
sensor with two
screws
(Fig. H/1)

Establish plug-in
connection with the
flat-battery sensor
and plug together or
disconnect X2
(Fig. K/2)
in
accordance with the
sticker
(Fig. K/1)
. In
the standard series
version the plug-in
connection X2 is
disconnected, for
no-maintenance
battery. Note: the
bridging plug
(Fig. K/3)
is only
required if no flat-
battery sensor is
fitted.
•
Connect the battery
to the bridge leads
and tighten the
terminal clamps.
Note the polarity:
‘+’ = positive pole
‘-’ = negative pole

Insert battery.

Plug-in battery plug.
•
Slew back covering
hood.
•
Close interlock by
turning anti-
clockwise with the
enclosed square
spanner.

Slip on rotary button
for suction fan.

CHARGING BATTERY
KSE 770 / 970:
Before it is put into
operation, the battery is
to be charged. For that
purpose, use the battery
charger recommended by
the manufacturer. The
battery charger and the
battery are adapted to
one another.
Only for use of the
battery, order No. 28921
and of the charger, order
No. 61196, can the
appropriate guarantee be
accepted for this.
