When using the navigation system,
always comply with the local traffic
regulations on the road while driving.
Displaying the entire route
The navigation system allows you to view the entire route so that you can verify the navigation system's
route calculation. If you select a cross-country route, for example Los Angeles to New York, the naviga-
tion system will display the route at a special 256-mile magnification scale setting.
Press the MENU button to display the main
menu bar. Select Route and press ENTER.
The Arrange Route menu appears. Select
Display Entire Route and press ENTER.
The entire route is displayed on a map with
a large enough view that you can see the
entire route.
When you press the MP/RG button, the
system returns to the map screen.

Your current position, waypoints, and the destination icon
are displayed.

With the route displayed, press and hold the
^
button on
the remote control to zoom out until your desired wider
range route is obtained. When the button is kept pressed
and the widest range is reached, the system automatically
stops and displays the entire route.
Press the
^
button. Each pressing zooms in the map by
increasing the magnification ratio one step.
