Sound Setup Operation

Press <MENU>.

When the NAVIGATION menu is displayed, touch the
[AUDIO/VISUAL] tab.

Or, press <MENU> to switch the tab.

Touch [Sound setup].

The Sound setup screen is displayed.

Adjustment cannot be performed when Defeat is set to On.

Setting contents: -7 to +7 (Initial setting: 0)

Adjustment cannot be performed when Defeat is set to On.

You can set the Subwoofer level when a Subwoofer is connected. When
no Subwoofer is connected, this item is set to Off.

Setting item: SubW.
Setting contents: Off, 0 to +15 (Initial setting: Off)

Loudness introduces a special low- and high-frequency emphasis at low
listening levels. This compensates for the ear’s decreased sensitivity to
bass and treble sound at these levels.

Setting item: Loudness
Setting contents: Off (Initial setting) / On

Adjustment cannot be performed when Defeat is set to On.

If you set the Defeat to On, the Bass/Treble/Loudness settings return to
the initial settings. If you set to Off, they resume to the set value.
