Direct Rear View Camera Operation

When an Alpine Direct Rear View Camera is connected and “Rear” is 
selected in “Camera Select”, the settings below can be performed. For 
more information about Alpine Direct Rear View Camera, please 
consult your Alpine dealer.

Setting item: Guide Adjustment

* Displays only when “Camera Select” is set to “Rear”.

Switching video patterns for Rear camera

[Guide Adjustment]

The camera guide adjustment screen is displayed.

The view will change to the selected view.

Adjusting the Rear Camera Guide

If you select “Rear”, you can adjust the camera guide position.

[Guide Adjustment]

The camera guide adjustment screen is displayed.

The camera guide is displayed only when the video pattern is set to 
“Rear”.

If

 does not appear, proceed to step 3.

Touch the guide you intend to adjust.

Guide line can also be selected by touching

Adjusting guides simultaneously (for Rear camera 
only)

The 3 vertical guides of the currently-selected guide link 
together, allowing them to be adjusted simultaneously.

Turning guide display On/Off

Turning the selected guide off.

The currently selected guide will turn off.

To turn the guide on, touch 

[On/Off]

 again.

Guides that are turned off are still adjustable.

Returning guides to default.

A message window will appear.

Adjusted values will return to default settings.

The video input signal type can be chosen.

Setting item: Camera Signal
Setting contents: NTSC (Initial setting)/PAL

You can set whether to display the rear camera image when the gear 
lever is moved to the reverse (R) position while the unit is turned off.

Setting item: Camera Interrupt (Power Mode)
Setting contents: On (Initial setting) /Off

On:

The rear camera image is displayed when the gear lever 
is moved to the reverse (R) position while the unit is 
turned off

Off:

The rear camera image is not displayed
