Description
A separately sold DVD player or DVD changer cannot be
connected to the DVI-9990.
If a DVD Audio disc (AUDIO mode
*
) is inserted, disc repeat
is initialized.
* When “AUDIO” is set in the DVD setup during DVD audio
mode. Refer to “DVD audio playback settings” (page 73).
With the system set to 2ch, “Can’t Downmix” appears if
DVD audio disc which prohibits downmixing (mixing down
of multi-channel to 2 ch) starts to playback (specified part).
In this case, audio recorded in the disc is output for Lch/
Rch only. (Audio is not output for center, Ls, Rs,
Subwoofer.)
Chapters are divisions of movies or musical selections on
DVDs.
The title contents can be further subdivided by place and
by track.
Tracks are divisions of movies or musical selections on
video and music CDs.
A title is:
The largest subdivision of images and tracks etc. that are
stored on a DVD video disc.
Playback starts from the beginning of the chapter/track
number in the state of PRE-STOP.
This function cannot be used on discs on which no title
numbers are recorded.
A group is: Tracks stored in DVD audio are arranged in a
number of groups. The group playback specification is
different, depending on the disc.

If you press RETURN , the track start mode is cleared.
