Deleting students’ responses
6. Select one of the following options:
•
Create a new document (if you’ve never retrieved these quiz
answers before or are starting over).
•
Merge into an existing document (if you’ve previously
retrieved and saved some students’ responses for this quiz).
You must first save a response document before you can
merge additional responses into it.
7. Click OK. QuizManager retrieves the responses.
When retrieval is complete, the student responses window opens so
you can grade the quiz and report on students’ results. See the
section “Grading quizzes” on page 94 for more information on the
grading process.
Deleting students’ responses
Once you have retrieved and saved your students’ responses, you can
use QuizManager to clear quiz responses from AlphaSmart devices.
The quiz itself remains on the AlphaSmart devices until you
specifically delete it. That way, you can administer the quiz to
another set of students.
To delete student responses:
1. Make sure the AlphaSmart devices are connected to an
AlphaHub or to your computer by a direct USB cable.
2. Click Delete Responses on the QuizManager control bar or
choose Communication > Delete Responses. QuizManager
