What do students do when they complete the quiz?

Press

a

-F

(for “finished”) and the applet returns to the quiz menu.

At this point, the AlphaSmart devices can be connected to the
AlphaHub for retrieval of quiz responses.

Can a student take a quiz twice?

This can be done in either of two ways:

•

Delete the responses for that quiz from the AlphaSmart device
and have the student take the quiz again.

•

Have the student log in using a variation of her name (Betty
Smith-2, for example). Otherwise, if the student’s first set of
responses is still on the AlphaSmart device and she logs in with
the same name, AlphaQuiz will open the first set of responses
again.

Is it possible to print a quiz from the teacher’s computer?

AlphaQuiz provides a range of printing options (Reports), including
grading sheets, corrected quizzes, quiz summaries, and statistics.
Each of these report types offers options for information to include.
For example, corrected quizzes may include the correct answer and
comments added by the teacher, as well as the student's answer. All
reports can be printed directly or saved to a file for additional
formatting and printing using a word processing program.

Once an essay question is printed and graded, what
capabilities are there to make notes on the student response
in QuizManager?

AlphaSmart QuizManager provides a Comments field in which notes
on the student’s response can be entered. These will print on the
corrected quiz as
