6.3 Recycling Used Batteries
Contact your local recycling or hazardous waste center for information on the
proper disposal of used batteries.
7. Communication
7.1 DB-9 Connector
The UPS has a DB-9 (9 pin female) connector on the rear panel that allows the UPS to communicate with a
computer with UPS software. The connection provides serial communications for utility and battery signals.
