Bleeding
Proceed as follows:
Place a bleeder at the highest point of the heat
source in the heat source outflow (forward flow)…
If necessary, place a bleeder at the highest point of
the heat source in the heat source inflow (return
flow)…
Place a bleeder at the highest point of the heat-
ing circuit in the heating circuit outflow (forward
flow)…
If necessary, place a bleeder at the highest point of
the heating circuit in the heating circuit inflow (re-
turn flow).
BLEEDING THE UNIT
The unit is bled automatically when the bleeders of the
safety components are open. If the heating circuit or
heat source is filled or emptied, the bleeding valves of
the respective safety components open.
BLEEDING THE CIRCULATING PUMP OF THE HEATING
CIRCUIT
Loosen the screw-on cap in the middle of the circulat-
ing pump.
BLEEDING THE CIRCULATING PUMP OF THE HEAT
SOURCE
Loosen the screw-on cap in the middle of the circulat-
ing pump.
BLEEDING THE HEAT SOURCE FOR A UNIT WITHOUT
COOLING FUNCTION
Bleeding is conducted automatically by means of the in-
tegrated bleeding function in the safety component.
Add only anti-freeze mixed with water to the heat
source…
CAUTION.
The concentration of anti-freeze in the wa-
ter must be at the level specified for your
model.
Overview “Technical data/scope of delivery”,
“Heat source” section.
Check concentration of anti-freeze in the mix-
ture…
Fill heat source with the anti-freeze mixture.
RINSING AND FILLING THE HEATING CIRCUIT
Contamination and deposits in the heating circuit can
cause malfunctions.
Rinse heating circuit system thoroughly…
CAUTION.
Do not exceed a pressure of 2.5 bar when
rinsing the unit. The drain line of the
heating circuit safety valve must be closed
before rinsing and filling.
NOTICE.
Rinse heat pump and heating circuit for
about 5 minutes.
Fill heating circuit.
CLEANING AND RINSING OF UNIT COMPONENTS
CAUTION.
Unit components may be cleaned and
rinsed only by customer service personnel
authorized by the manufacturer. Use only
liquids recommended by the manufactur-
er.
Rinsing of the liquefier with chemical
cleaning agents must be followed by neu-
tralization of residue and intensive rinsing
with water. Always observe the technical
data of the manufacturer of the heat ex-
changer.
