16.3 Installation
CAUTION
In the air outlet area the air temperature is
approx. 5 K below the ambient temperature.
Under certain climatic conditions, an ice lay-
er can therefore form in the air outlet area.
Install the heat pump such that the air blow-
er does not discharge into footpath areas.
IMPORTANT
Do not tilt the unit more than a maximum
of 45° (in any direction).
NOTE
Always observe the installation plan for the
respective unit model. Note the size and min -
imum clearances.


Set up the unit so that the switch box side is accessi -
ble at all times.
16.4 Attaching the air flow baffles
WARNING
Unit has rotating parts.
For safety reasons, mount the two air flow
baffles on the unit before continuing with
any other work.
1. If you have not already done so, remove lower
facing panels on the switch box and water con -
nection side of the unit.
1.1. To do so, loosen the two quick-release screws on
the lower facing panels.
1.2. Pull each facing panel forward, detach from the
unit and set securely aside.

2. Remove upper facing panels from unit.
2.1. To do so, loosen the two screws on the lower edg

es of the upper facing panels.
2.2. Pull each facing panel downward and forward, de -
tach from top cover of unit and set securely aside.

3. The top cover of the unit was fastened by the up -
per facing panels. After removal of the upper fac -
ing panels, the top cover is loose. Remove top
cover and set securely aside.
