Restarting the AT-VP504E FXO

When clicking on the Restart button at the bottom of the Configuration
web page, the AT-VP504E FXO is restarted. If the AT-VP504E FXO is
in use when you click Restart, the restart is not processed. A message
informs you of this situation.

If the AT-VP504E FXO is not in use when you click Restart, a message
informs you that the unit is about to restart. Approximately 10 to 20
seconds after receiving this message, you can request the
AT-VP504E FXO web pages.

Resetting the Configuration

You can clear changes in the Configuration web page fields by clicking
Reset at the bottom of the Configuration web page. The
AT-VP504E FXO configuration is not updated.

Integrating the
AT-VP504E FXO
into the Communi-
cation Environ-
ment

Since the AT-VP504E FXO is managed as a gateway unit within an
individual LAN, it must have an IP address like any other unit
connected. If you have any questions about the individual terms used
or about your LAN environment, please contact your network
administrator.

The AT-VP504E FXO can be configured to have an IP address
automatically assigned to it by the DHCP server as soon as it is
connected to a LAN, or to use static IP addresses you have defined.

The AT-VP504E FXO uses other IP addresses as well, such as
gatekeeper IP addresses. These addresses can also be assigned via
DHCP server or defined manually.
