Install four wall anchors into the wall, separated by 46.7 cm (18 3/8 inches)
on center.

Position the switch onto the wall and secure with appropriate screws (not
provided).
Caution
Air vents must not be blocked and must have free access to the room
ambient air for cooling.

Apply AC power to the switch by plugging the power cord into the AC
power connector on the back panel of the unit and plugging the other end
into a power outlet.
Warning
The power cord is used as a disconnection device. To de-energize
equipment, disconnect the power cord.

Connect the data cables, making sure each connection has a good valid link
and that the switch is receiving packets. For 10/100Base-TX ports, use a
straight-through cable to connect to workstations, servers, or printers. To
connect to a hub, router, or another switch, use port 24 and configure the
port as MDI using the uplink button. Alternatively, you can use a crossover
cable.

Chapter 1.
