The following figure shows the proper way to mount a standard end handle to the screed section. Do not try to

modify this mounting procedure, this is the only way to mount the end handles where they will work properly.

Follow the steps below to properly mount the end handles to your screed.

•  Mount the bearing onto the bearing support bracket.
•  Mount the handle grips onto the lifting handles.
•  Mount the lifting handles onto the end handle using two 3/8 x 2 bolts and 3/8 nylon lock nuts.
•  Mount the bearing support bracket to the end handle using four 1/4 x 1 1/2 bolts and 1/4 stover nuts.
•  Mount the end handle to the screed using three 1/2 x 3/4 bolts, three 1/2 x 1 bolts and six 1/2 hex nuts. screew

the appropriate adapter for the end you are working on onto the top pipe.
