Communicate with Devices on an Ethernet Network

Chapter 3

Add a Consumed Tag

A consumed tag’s value comes from a remote controller. The local controller is
the consumer, and the remote controller is the producer. Consumed tags are
always at controller scope.

Complete these steps to add a consumed tag.

1.

On the Controller folder in the Controller Organizer, right-click
Controller Tags and choose New tag.

The New Tag dialog box appears.
