Reporting KTx Scanner Status

For each of the 128 possible adapter addresses, there are 3 contiguous
bytes of data in the dual port:
adapter configuration byte
adapter fault byte
adapter retry count byte
Remember, each logical rack can be divided in quarters known as
quarter-racks.
Adapter Configuration Byte
The host uses the adapter configuration byte to:
verify that the adapter is in the scan list
verify that the adapter is responding to scanner commands
determine the physical size of the the adapter’s rack
distinguish between node adapters and standard adapters
This table defines the bits of the adapter configuration byte.
