NOTICE:
Operator responsibilities.
Each worker must take responsibility for their own personal health and safety, as well as for
that of other people present at the workplace who could be affected by their actions or
omissions, in accordance with the training, the instruction and the means provided by the
employer.
In particular, the workers must:
respect the indications and the instructions provided by the employer, by the managers and by
the supervisors for the purposes of collective and individual safety;
use the machinery, the apparatus, the utensils, the dangerous substances and compounds, the
transport apparatus and other working equipment, as well as the safety devices, properly;
use the available protective devices appropriately;
immediately signal any safety device malfunction to the employer, to the managers or to the
supervisors;
not remove or modify the safety, signalling or control devices without authorization;
not perform, on their behalf, any operations or manoeuvres for which they are not qualified, or
which could compromise the their own safety or that of others;
contribute, together with the employer, the managers and the supervisors, to the fulfilment of all
of the obligations prescribed by the competent authorities, as well as any requirements
necessary for safeguarding the health and safety of the workers;
absolutely avoid using the machine in any evident state of drunkenness or under the influence
of drugs, etc..
ATTENTION: It is absolutely forbidden to tamper with and/or substitute any part of the
machine, without authorization, or to use accessories, utensils and consumption
materials different than those prescribed by ALITRAK.
Failure to observe this prohibition shall relieve ALITRAK from any civil or criminal
responsibility.
5.2
WORK AREA
Foreword
The work area must possess the following characteristics:
The work area, intended as a manoeuvring and transit zone, must NEVER be occupied by boxes,
equipment or other objects which might cause tripping or falling. Nothing should interfere with the
operators’ freedom of movement;
The work area must be adequately illuminated.
This prohibition must also be indicated by an appropriate sign placed near the machine.
It is the operators’ responsibility to make sure the regulations are respected and to signal any
inobservances to their supervisors.
ATTENTION: Personnel who are not directly authorized for operating or maintaining the
machinery are not to be permitted within the work area.
