7.2 Remote Control Camera Adjustment
If you have an
ALGE-TIMING
motor zoom and/or electronic gear head you can execute all cam-
era adjustments directly from your OPTIc3.NET software on the PC.
Please note that the adjustment of each function works very slowly (smooth adjustment) at the
beginning and speeds up the longer you click on the button.
Motor zoom MZ75C or MZ160R:
The adjustment with motor zoom only works
with an
ALGE-TIMING
motor zoom. Identical
third-party motor zooms need a purchasable
software update from
ALGE-TIMING
.
a Focus:
<near>: best focus for objects near to
the camera
<far>: best focus for objects far from
the camera
b Iris:
<bright>: opens the iris to brighten up
the picture
<dark>: closes the iris to darken the
picture
<Auto>: If <Auto> is activated, it auto-
matically adjusts the iris, when <Auto gain on> is activated.
c Zoom:
<small>: zoom out of the picture (wide angle)
<large>: zoom into the picture to enlarge objects
Electronic Gear Head 410-E3:
The electronic gear head is advantageous if the camera is far away from the PC or very difficult
to reach (e.g. fixed under the roof). Please note that the motor of the gear head always starts
very slowly. The longer you keep the button pressed the faster the motor moves.
d Pan:
<left>: camera moves to the left
<right>: camera moves to the right
e Tilt:
<up>: camera moves up
<down>: camera moves down
f Roll:
<left>: camera rolls to the left
<right>: camera rolls to the right
