To connect the hose assembly follow the next steps:
 Locate the regulator and gas connection point in the rear left side of your oven unit.
 Fasten the Flex Hose connection to the 1/2” ODF (flare fitting) provided with the oven unit.
( See Figure # 5 ). When using a 1/2” Ø flexible stainless steel gas hose, do not connect a
hose that is more than 48” in length.
 Alternatively, you can use a 1/2” NPT hard gas pipeline with the appropriate fittings.
COUNTERTOP INSTALLATIONS:
Because of the
Alfresco
™ Pizza Oven’s unique countertop design, it is possible to install the gas
supply (NG or LP) from a location below the counter. The oven is constructed with an opening at the
bottom heat shield to facilitate connections. (
See figure # 6
)
Standard connections through the back panel can be converted to bottom connections as follows:
 Removing the (2) 1/4
-
20 bolt fasteners at the inlet
bracket assembly.
 Rotating down the assembly 90° immediately behind
the back panel so it faces down.

Removing the exterior electrical cable strain relief.

Feeding the electrical plug through the back panel
downward.
 Re
-
installing the 1/4
-
20 bolt fasteners to secure the
piping assembly.

Re
-
installing the appropriate size compression fitting
for a flexible hose connections, or…

Hard
-
piping the oven with 1/2” NPT piping.
When considering installing the gas supply through the bottom of a non
-
combustible countertop, it is
recommended to have a 4” diameter hole located as shown on
Figure # 7
for piping and electrical re-
quirements.
The center of the 4” Ø hole should be located 2
-
1/2” from the back panel and 4” from the right side of
the oven base. Keep in mind the final location, clearance to non
-
combustible materials and free ex-
haust clearances required for the Pizza Oven when locating such access hole.
