The burner screen MUST be placed on the burner. DO NOT remove the screen.
3. Turn the control knob to “MIN” and wait for the burner temperature to drop and stabilize.
4. Insert a small blade screwdriver into the LOW SETTING screw of the gas valve to begin the
Hearth Burner adjustment.
5. Turn counter
-
clockwise to INCREASE the low heat flame, Clockwise to DECREASE.
6. Adjust the flames so the burner flame looks BLUE in color and is stable without empty areas
around the solid stripes of the burner surface (See
Figure # 13 )
7. The doors, door threshold and the door cavity in general, will be hot after this adjustment. Let the
entire oven cool down to the touch before replacing the Hearth Stone removed in step 1.
8. Reattach the knobs by pushing them onto the stems of the gas valves.
The automatic burner igniter system will continue to glow even when the burner is at it’s lowest setting.
The hot surface igniter will continue glowing as a safety measure, while allowing the safety gas valves
to remain open flowing gas to the burner.
NOTE:
In MIN setting the color of the flame might be impos-
sible to see in daylight. It is highly recommended that
this adjustment be done at dusk or with some shad-
ing over the oven in order to obscure the oven’s inte-
rior and show the BLUE flame on the Hearth Stone IR
Burner.
DO NOT adjust the MIN setting without the burner screen, as it is designed to hold the flame steady
and in place specially when operating at minimum temperatures.
AVOID WATER DAMAGE TO BURNER
NEVER ALLOW WATER TO CONTACT
THE IR BURNER AS DAMAGE TO THE
CERAMIC PANEL WILL RESULT.
