Troubleshooting
Problem

Engine does not start. Fuel tank (28) is empty.
Oil tank is empty.
Spark plug (47).
Blades hitting the grass to be cut.
20V Xfinity Li-ion battery (46)
is flat.
Check the fuel tank (28), and refuel if required.
Check the level of the oil filler cap/dipstick (19), and if low or
empty, add oil.
Clean or replace if dirty or worn.
Increase the cutting height of the mower so the blades do not
make contact with the grass on start up.
Charge the 20V Xfinity Li-ion battery (46).
Cutting / Engine

Cutting height.
4 x blades (36) are dull or blunt.
When using side discharge chute
(30).
Hard catcher (23) is full.
Increase the cutting height using the cutting height adjustment
lever (9).
Replace the blades with new / sharp blades.
Clean around the side ejector chute.

Always ensure the engine is turned off before undertaking
this task.
Empty hard catcher (23).
Hard catcher is not
filling up to optimum
level.
Cutting height too low.
When Mulching, piles of grass are
left behind the mower.
Grass is wet.
4 x swing blades (36) are dull or
blunt
Rear discharge chute is blocked.
Increase the cutting height using the cutting height adjustment
lever (9).
Lift the height of the cutting depth by one notch using the cutting
height adjustment lever (9).
Allow the grass to dry before mowing.
Sharpen or replace the 4 x blades (36).
Stop mower and clear the rear discharge chute.
Mower cannot be
pulled backward.
Gearbox is engaged.
Release the self propel engage/disengage bar (2).
Self propel does not
operate.
Gear box not engaged.
Engine not operating.
Fully lift self propel engage/disengage bar (2) against the upper
handle bar (1).
Start motor and retry.
Engine does not stop Key failure
The safest method is to wheel the lawn mower to a safe area and
allow the lawn mower to continue to run until the fuel has been
all used up.
