5. The minimum requirement for a RAID volume is 2 SATA drives. When you install
more than two SATA devices, the “Disks” field will be available for you to select the
disks to be used by the RAID volume. Otherwise, press <Enter>.

If you had configured the RAID 0 mode (step 3), the “Strip Size” field will be
accessible for you to select the striping size. This field will affect data access
performance. We recommend that you to use the system default value of “128 KB”.
Press <Enter>.

On the same screen, as shown below, you can enter the size (in GB) of your RAID
volume. The default is the maximum capacity you can configure according to the
disks you have selected and the type of RAID volume. Typically, you would choose
the default for your RAID volume. However, if you want to build more than one
RAID volume on the same disks, you must use this field to allocate the sizes
manually for each RAID volume. Press <Enter>.

Next, press <Enter> on the “Create Volume” field. A confirmation message will
display as shown below. Press <Y> to complete the RAID volume configuration.
