Chapter 3: Software Setup

Software List

The following list is the software and drivers supplied with the bundled Driver CD

Software Installation

Place the Driver CD into the CD-ROM drive. The Installation Utility should automatically start up.
You can also launch the Installation Utility manually by executing the

nVIDIA.exe

program on the

Driver CD. The example installation in this document is for a Windows

®

XP operating system.

Follow the steps below (for more details, please refer to the Readme.txt files located in each folder of
the Driver CD).
1. The first screen (Driver Menu) will display several driver installation buttons. For the most optimal
conditions, we suggest that you that you first select the Microsoft Direct X 9.0b installation button
(more recent versions may appear on the button depending on your installation software).
