BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging material. Make sure that no polystyrene remains on the heating element (2).
• Check for completeness and transport damage. In case of damages or incomplete delivery please contact
your dealer ( Guarantee).
• Keep the packaging for storing the appliance when not in use for an extended period of time.
• Place the appliance on a level, stable, clean, dry and heat resistant surface.
• Operate the appliance before first use on medium setting (7) for 5 to 8 minutes to burn off production
residues. Make sure there is good ventilation. There might be some smoke building up. This is normal and
does not indicate any defect of the appliance.
• Clean the appliance and the accessories ( Cleaning).
• During first use, drop some oil on the surface of grill plate (1) and pans (9), then wipe the parts with a dry cloth.
• When turning or moving food, make sure to use the supplied wooden scrapers (10).

Place the grill plate (1) on the appliance (fig. , ).
• The appliance is now ready for use.
OPERATION
• Connect the power plug (3) to a suitable outlet.
• Press
ON/OFF
(8) to switch the appliance on. The
POWER
indicator (6) lights up.
Set heating level
• Set the heat control (7) to the desired heating level:

Cooking food
• Prepare food ( Recipes).
• Wait a few minutes until the appliance has heated up grill plate (1) and cooking area (11) to the set
temperature ( Set heating level).
• Place food on the glossy side of the grill plate (1), or in the pans (9).
• Regularly check the cooking progress. Stir and turn food so that food can be cooked to your taste.
Switch appliance off
• When finished using the appliance, press
ON/OFF
(8) to switch it off. The
POWER
indicator (6) goes off.
• Turn heat control (7) to
MIN
.
• Disconnect the appliance from the wall outlet.
• Let the appliance cool completely.
