IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

15.  To avoid damaging to the power cord, do not squeeze, bend or rub it on sharp edges. Keep it away from 

hot surfaces and open flames as well.

16.  Place the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible. 
17.  If an extension cord is used, its capacity needs to be suitable for the power consumed by the appliance.
18.  Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor. Do not touch the power plug 

with wet hands.

19.  Do not open the appliance casing under any circumstances. Do not insert any foreign objects into the 

inside of the casing.

20.  Never use accessories which are not recommended by the manufacturer. They could present a safety risk 

to the user and might damage the appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.

21.  Do not place heavy objects on top of the appliance. Do not place objects with open flames, e.g. candles 

beside the appliance. Do not place objects filled with water, e.g. vases, near the appliance.

22.  Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces and open flames. Protect the appliance against heat and 

cold, dust, direct sunlight, moisture, dripping and splashing water.

23.  Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power cord and do not wrap the power cord 

around the appliance.

24.  Connect  the  power  plug  to  an  easily  reachable  electrical  outlet  so  that  in  case  of  an  emergency  the 

appliance  can be  unplugged  immediately.  Pull  the power plug out  of the electrical  outlet to completely 
switch off the appliance. Use the power plug as the disconnection device.

25.  Disconnect the power plug from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
26.  Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting the power plug.
27.  Should the appliance fall into water, unplug the power plug first before reaching into the water.

Danger  to  life!

  Make  sure  that  no  objects  like  hair  clips  or  hair  pins  are  inserted  into  the 

appliance. These can cause a short-circuit.

29.  Do not use the appliance barefoot.
30.  Do  not  leave  the  appliance  unattended,  if  it  is  in  use  or  the  power  plug  is  connected  to  an 

electrical outlet.

31.  Always switch off the appliance, if you put it down during use.

Danger of burns!

 Parts of the appliance become very hot during use. Hold the appliance by 

its handle only.

33.  During use, do not use hairspray, water vaporisers or other vaporisers close to the appliance. 

Only use them when the appliance is switched off and the power plug is disconnected.

34.  Do not use the appliance if you are sleepy or if there is a possibility that you will fall asleep.
35.  The  appliance  switches  off  automatically,  if  it  is  overheating.  Disconnect  the  appliance  from  the  power 

source and let it cool completely. Before using the appliance again, check if the air intake or air outlet 
openings are blocked by lint, hair or other objects.

36.  Let the appliance cool completely before removing or attaching parts.
37.  Make sure that hot air is not directed at eyes or other heat sensitive parts of the body.
38.  During use, ensure that hair cannot be sucked into the air intake.
39.  Do not cover the air intake and air outlet during use. Keep them free from lint and hair.
40.  If obtaining a copy of the instruction manual should be required, please contact the distributing company 

in your country.

•  This appliance is intended for drying hair only and is not to be used for drying other objects. Do not use it 

to dry pets.

•  This appliance is only suitable for private household use and it is not designed for commercial purposes.
•  This appliance is intended for dry indoor use only. Do not use the appliance outdoors.
•  Use the appliance only as described in this manual.
•  Any other use might lead to damage of the appliance, property or personal injury.
•  No liability will be accepted for damage resulting from improper use or non-compliance with this manual.
