SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION!
The ATC cannot replace the physically
specified limits. Always adjust your dri-
ving speed to the weather, road surface
and traffic conditions.
CAUTION!
Danger of fire!
The constant plus on the
13 pole socket of the towing vehicle must
have a 15 A or 20 A fuse.
CAUTION!
Danger of crushing!
Power supply
must only be connected AFTER fitting.
Do not put hands into the moving area of
the ram.
CAUTION!
Safety-relevant component!
We recommend having the installation
carried out by a specialist workshop.
Before assembly, the weight ranges exami-
ned.
The ATC only functions for caravans with a
rigid tow bar.
ATC may only be used in connection with AL-
KO components.
Caravans with a high centre of gravity can tip
before swinging occurs.
Before installation, the braking system must
be set by a specialist workshop.
In order to secure the functioning of the ATC,
safeguard a correct electrical power supply
(12V) of the towing vehicle.
Don‘t clean with high pressure clearer.
Function impairment or -cancellation through:
Alterations and/or improper works for the
brake installation.
Disturbed or no electric connection bet-
ween vehicle and Caravan.

DESIGNATED USE
ATC is employed as a retrofit safety system for
caravans and trailers with rigid drawbar. Different
ATC variants have to be employed for the weight
ranges indicated below:
