Volume mute

Press the MUTE button on the remote control
to instantly lower the volume. Press it again
to resume the normal volume.

Sound adjustment

Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to display “TREB”, “BASS”,
“L-----R”, Sound Effect and “VOL”.

– When “TREB” is displayed, adjusts the level by rotating the

DOWN   VOLUME   UP knob on the unit or by pressing the
DOWN or UP button on the remote control.

– When “BASS” is displayed, raises the level for the louder range

by the UP button and lowers the level by the DOWN button.

– When “L-----R” is displayed, press the DOWN/UP button to

balance the left/right side level.

– When Sound Effect is displayed, press the DOWN/UP button to

select different sound effect.
The display will change as the sequence:

Loudness selection

Press the LOUDNESS button on the unit,
“LOUD ON” or “LOUD OFF” will appear
on the display window.
Press the button again to switch “ON” or
“OFF”, meanwhile, the LOUDNESS indicator
on the front panel lights or disappears.
– When “LOUD ON” is displayed , it adds compensation to bass

sounds that are hard to hear at low volume.

– When “LOUD OFF” is selected, the loudness function will be

cancelled.

Tone

When playing the KARAOKE disc, if a song is too high or low for
your range, you can alter the key of the song to suit your voice.

A. Press the “   ” button to lower the tone.
B. Press the “   ” button to raise the tone.
C. Press the “   ” button to resume the tone.

Basic Operations of System

Switch on/off the power

Press the 

 STANDBY/ON button on the

unit or the 

 button on the remote control

to turn on the unit; Press this button again
to turn it off to standby mode.
– The Power button is only a standby switch. To cut power

completely, unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet.

Video out select

According to your television system, you can set the
output system to NTSC or PAL mode by pressing
the PAL/NTST button on the remote control.
NTSC............. for NTSC exclusive TV
PAL ...............for PAL exclusive TV

Input source selection

There are 3 input sources for your selection:

VCD, TUNER, AUX

Press the FUNCTION button, then rotate the DOWN   VOLUME 
UP knob on the unit or press the DOWN/UP button on the remote
control to select the input source.
The display will change as the sequence:

Setting the clock

You can set the clock in standby mode by using the remote control.
1. Press the ENTER button, the display window will display time

digits, “AM” or “PM” flashes, press the SET button to switch.
And then press the ENTER button, the hour section flashes.

2 Press the SET button to set the hour digits, then press the ENTER

button, the minute section flashes.

3. Press the SET button to set the minute digits, then press the ENTER

button to complete the time setting.

Volume

You can adjust the volume by rotating the DOWN   VOLUME   UP
knob on the unit or the  -  VOLUME  +  button on the remote control.
