deformation.
Mini-wings in general are more resistant to collapse than standard sized paragliders. Collapses
recover very fast. The greatest danger in an abnormal situation is that the untrained or
inexperienced pilot reacts too slowly or overreacts and stalls the glider unintentionally.
The brake travel is shorter compared to a standard paraglider. Nevertheless, the stall-point is
noticeable and the brake pressure increases continuously to reduce the tendency to stall the
wing unintentionally.
Susi is highly agile and reaction to brake input is more considerably dynamic that with a
standard paraglider. Piloting with ‘normal’ brake input for a standard sized wing will lead to
dynamic wing-overs on the SuSi. Pilots must take care to accustom themselves with these
increased dynamics.
Due to the high trim-speed the SuSi can be flown in stronger winds compared to a standard
sized wing. Please consider that in mountainous regions, strong wind may result in more
turbulence.
SuSi is available in 20m², 18m², 16m² and 14m² sizes.
The 20m² is our ‘entry-level’ SuSi, suitable for newcomers to mini-wings and heavier pilots.
The 18m² is considered to be the ‘standard’ size SuSi, ideal for most experienced pilots.
The 16m² is a more radical version and has a trim speed approximately 4km/h faster and
therefore exhibits more energy in turns or dynamic manoeuvres. This is suited to expert pilots
or very light pilots.
The 14m² size is the Extreme wing with very high speed and the shortest brake travel. We
recommend it to expert pilots only.
The following table gives some speeds with weight different loadings. This might be helpful
when choosing the right size.

Testing collapses:
The SuSi airfoil is based on 2-line technology and therefore designed to be highly collapse
resistant. The A-attachment points are placed far behind the leading edge.
We do not recommend making intentional collapses on the SuSi. If you do want to test
