4. TECHNICAL DATA
The technical specifications of the TW1m modem are listed in Table 2.

The mounting of the screw positions is shown in Figure 1.

Interfaces
The TW1m modem uses commercial connectors (Molex) available from electronic connector resellers. Molex cable
kits are available to simplify the setup. The integrating requires that the cables are tailored to the optimum length.
Airbus does not provide the tailored cables.
The RF antennas should be installed a minimum of 50cm from the TW1m boards to avoid TETRA interferences.
The PCB connector has a 3-wire serial port with 2.78 V voltage levels for data communication. The RS-232 voltage
levels and HW flow control are provided with accessories.
