ELECTRICAL
All RADOME units with PASSPORT I/O have a terminal strip on the circuit board mounted in the electric
box. Remove the electric box panel in order to access the circuit board (see diagram). The terminal strip is
labeled for proper connections of the electrical supply and ground wires (see wiring diagram in drawing
appendix). The correct size circuit breaker should be used to protect the system as specified on the a/c
unit’s data plate label. All connections shall be made with solderless terminals. Turn off a/c power supply
circuit breaker before opening electric box. Each a/c unit installed requires its own dedicated circuit
breaker.
OPERATION
OPERATIONS CHECKLIST
Turn on the A/C circuit breaker.
Turn the system on by pressing the POWER button.
Set the temperature (set point) to 85ºF by using the UP or DOWN buttons.
Verify that there is steady airflow out of the supply air grille.
If the unit does not appear to be operating properly, refer to troubleshooting guidelines.
Note: Do not turn the unit off and immediately turn it back on. Allow at least 30 seconds for
refrigerant pressure equalization.
