Troubleshooting
If the screwdriver does not work properly, follow the checklist below to
examine your screwdriver. If none of the following points applies to the
problem you encounter, do not open the unit. Contact your local sales agent
immediately for further guidance.
Problem Solution
Screwdriver does
not operate
Verify that power plug is correctly and tightly plugged
into the designated power source.
Verify that there is designated voltage between 5P-
5P terminal block needle no. 1 (“-“ potential), no. 4
(“+” potential).
Check whether the connection wire plug of 5P
–5P
is broken. If it is broken, replace it with a new
connection wire or new plug. (This problem usually
occurs at the plug that connects to the screwdriver.)
Screwdriver keeps
rotating (except
reverse rotating) or
screwdriver does
not shut off
automatically when
the preset torque is
reached and clutch
is released
The AM Controller is designed with an electric braking
system. If you experience this problem, contact an
authorized service center.
Screwdriver does

automatically when
the clutch shuts off
at preset torque
