2.5.3 Mechanical hazards
WARNING
Transport of the appliances with indus-
trial trucks.
Risk of injury to persons in the event of a
collision.
Observe transport routes for industrial
trucks.
Secure transported goods.
Only trained personnel may operate in-
dustrial trucks.
Respect the center of gravity of the de-
vice for safe lifting of the load with the
forklift. Information is provided on the
front and back of the device packaging.
Transport one appliance at a time with
the industrial truck.
Do not stack the unit.
Appliance tipping hazard.
Persons may become trapped.
Do not climb onto or into the unit.
In the event of questions, contact the
maintenance service

Dispose of packaging material and film.
Suffocation hazard.
Keep packaging material and film away
from children.
Do not allow children to play with pack-
aging material or film.
Missing and/or not fully functional
safety devices.

plete and working.
Do not remove protective devices and
covers attached to the appliance.

Improper installation of the display
shelves.
Risk of injury due to falling of the display
shelves holding goods.
The bracket for the display shelves and
the display shelves must fully engage in
the slots provided during suspension.
Leakage of defrost water. Leakage of
liquids from damaged packaging.
Slipping hazard
Check for puddles in front of and under
the appliance.
Promptly remove leaking defrost wa-
ter/liquids.
Closing of the night blind.
Hands can be jammed.
Keep your hands away from the night
blind.
Safety when handling glass
CAUTION
Glass breakage.
Cut wounds to the body. Shock injury.
Do not install appliances with laminated
insulating glass at altitudes above 2000
m (6562 ft). Laminated insulating glass
may break due to air pressure differ-
ence.
Check glass elements for damage, e.g.
cracks, breaks. In the event of damage,
promptly contact the maintenance ser-
vice
(se
e → chapter 11.3).
Check for breakage of stored glass con-
tainers.
Do not climb onto or into the unit.
Dispose of broken glass.
Hand cuts.
Use protective gloves to remove split
glass parts and goods that may have
been damaged as a result.
Carefully and completely remove all split
glass parts and damaged goods.
2.5.4 Residual risks
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused by non-compliance with this manual and other
manufacturer specifications.
