Taking Polarization Dependent Measurements

Measuring Polarization Dependent Loss

Checking the Measurement Conditions

If not already done, check the general instrument settings by
pressing P

RESET

For highest resolution, the “Number of Digits” should read
0.1234 and “Low PDL” should be set. The “Mode” will affect
the measuring method (see section 1.6 “Getting Started” on
page 31). Press

the head to which you connected the DUT, press
